Professional Driving Instructor Development
I am a dedicated Driving Industry Trainer committed to raising standards within the driver training profession. My work focuses on developing both Potential Driving Instructors (PDIs) and Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) beyond simply passing qualifying tests — towards becoming confident, structured, and effective educators on the road.
I specialise in supporting PDIs through the qualification process with a strong emphasis on deep understanding, not route learning. Too many trainees chase test passes without mastering instructional competence; my approach challenges that by building real teaching ability, critical thinking, and professional discipline.
For ADIs, I provide targeted development to refine coaching techniques, improve lesson structure, and align teaching with modern client-centred learning principles. The goal is simple: elevate instructional quality so learners don’t just pass — but become safe, independent drivers.
